Overview
There's a mouse in the house - and he's a sneaky little fellow. Will he get caught or will he continue to outsmart everyone?
Description
In her debut book, "There's A Mouse In The House", author and teacher Isabel Montone relays an episode from her cottage home - trying to sleuth the location of an unwelcome visitor - in a light and entertaining way. The mouse is not to be found, but evidence of its presence continues to pop up each day. Who will gain the upper-hand? How will it end? Beautifully illustrated by Lisa Pimental, this children's book is sure to please children of all ages - as well as those who may be reading it to them!
About the author
Isabel Montone taught elementary school over the course of 35 years. Shortly after retiring to a small, rural lake-side cottage, she encountered a friendly mouse that made its way into their cozy abode. That experience inspired her to create a short rhyming story/poem to read to her grandchildren. This is her first children's book. She and her husband now split their time between North Carolina and Florida.
