The Tiger Who Lost Her Stripes is an endearing story about a tiger who starts her morning with a simple shower, only to discover that her stripes were washed down the drain.  What was she going to do?

Thinking she is in a terrible dilemma; she starts her journey to find other animals and asks if they have any stripes they could spare.  She has no luck with animals like a giraffe who only has spots or a camel with a hump made of hair.  When it looks like she will never get back her stripes, an animal comes along to give of himself, her much-desired stripes.  Can you guess who it is?  She realizes that losing her stripes wasn’t bad after all because she met new friends and learned that we all look different on the outside but it’s what's inside that matters most!

This story is about a tiger that loses her stripes and seeks help from other animals to get them back. Each animal she asks is unable to help and explains that they have fur, or feathers until the zebras come to the rescue by sharing their stripes. It teaches children to seek help when they need it as well as to help others when they are in need too.
