About the author

Michael Hnatyshyn is a history buff of Ukrainian ancestry. He has always enjoyed learning about Kyivan Rus' and has dreamed of writing a book about this period his entire life. Now, he finally has. He lives in New York with his wife Iryna and an extensive library of books on the medieval period.
