The Prostitute Murders

Awakened in the dead of night, Jack Novak is stunned to learn his former detective partner, Homes Kinny, has been murdered. Jack flies back to Atlanta and agrees to join Homes' wife Diane, an FBI agent, to find the killer and give him their special personal justice. Novak quickly finds the case has grave complications and he is stone-walled at every turn by his former friends and fellow cops. His partner's notes lead him to the discovery that the case is tied to the murders of many prostitutes in the Atlanta area. Their bodies are marked with strange religious symbols, clues that must be solved to find the killer. But what connection does his partner's wife have to the case and to the murders? When the murderer kidnaps the wife and Novak challenges him face to face, he does his best to avenge his dead partner and save his widow.

Detective Jack Novak is now retired and living in Thailand with his wife and daughter, happy to be free of the intense murder investigations and personal dangers that plagued him for so many years. His life is jolted into reality when a midnight call from his partner's, Homes Kinney's wife in Atlanta tells him that Homes has been murdered. Returning to his old life and office in Atlanta, he contacts his partner's wife, Diane Nguyen, an FBI agent. They agree to join forces, find the murderer, and exact their revenge. Using his former partner's notes, Novak quickly finds the case is tied to a string of prostitute murders where the bodies are marked with strange religious symbols. He and Nguyen find they are blocked at every turn as they pursue the case. Just as Jack feels he is getting close to some answers, Diane is kidnapped by the serial killer. Finding her becomes his main goal. But will she still be alive? And who is the mysterious murderer who seems to know every police procedure and has eluded them for over twenty years? Novak finally comes face to face with the murderer and begins to take out his own kind of justice.
