Description

Russian President Vladimir Putin didn't invade Ukraine in 2022 because he feared NATO. He invaded because he believed that NATO was weak, that his efforts to regain control of Ukraine by other means had failed, and that installing a pro-Russian government in Kyiv would be safe and easy. In this manner, Vladimir Putin essentially represented a poke player coming to the table to "bluff". Because of frequent threats of nuclear war, his gamble has paid dividends. Using the "N" word has illustrated the weakness of President Biden -in tandem with displaying the hopeless fractures within NATO together with their collective unwillingness to confront Russia either politically or militarily. The result in the present instance is unspeakable suffering for Ukraine. Likewise, the result of this folly of political weakness or continuing "Politics of Fear" will be another, much greater war that neither the USA nor NATO countries have a faint hope of winning.
