Elizabeth Jia is a globalist with an international background and a true artist. She combines oil painting, traditional Chinese watercolor painting, photography, culinary art, and fashion designs as one of the 100 Most Influential Chinese Contemporary Artists and a Chinese National Painter and Calligrapher Association member. Elizabeth received her Master's degree in International Management at The University of Illinois at Chicago and her Bachelor's degree in Art Directing of Broadcasting at The Communication University of China. She serves as the Vice President at the US-China Culture & Art Center. News & Media "Mandarin Leader" interviewed and introduced Elizabeth Jia as one of the 60 notable Chinese in the US for 2015. "China Art Weekly" interviewed Elizabeth Jia and highly praised her achievement in arts as one of "the youngest extraordinary national-level artists" in the national newspaper. "Chicago China News & Digest" introduced Elizabeth Jia's artwork at their Chinese New Year Special Edition in 2012. "Golden Age Collection - the most influential famous contemporary Chinese par inter and calligrapher" introduced Elizabeth and collected her paintings in their book. Elizabeth has hosted dozens of successful non-profit educational culture programs within the non-profit organization IWA (International Women Associates) since 2012 and participated in SWIFT school's book distribution program as well as the "culture in suitcase" community service program to bring culture exchanges to public schools in the Chicago area. Elizabeth joined the IWA board in 2018, has served on the Gala committee since 2014, Chaired the 40th IWA annual Gala "China, Love Through the Dynasties" at The Peninsula Chicago. Elizabeth used true individual stories in the China Gala book to show IWA members' ties with China dated back to the 1920s.
