About the author
James J. Goodman, born mid-way through the last century, has been both appalled and delightfully surprised by this life, and, while no stranger to adversity, has, so far, had more good luck than bad. He once saved a dragonfly trapped behind a display window of a store that was across from the Sonoma town square. It was very hot and it sat motionless on the edge of something. He cupped it in his hands and brought it near a fountain in the square where it was cool and sat on a nearby bench. When he opened his hands the beautiful insect did not immediately fly away. It expressed gratitude to him telepathically and then took off. He had not expected that. Such a nice surprise. "The Light of Day" is his first book. His hope is that it will be a nice surprise for you.
