Overview
In 1996, Newburgh, 23-year-old Chino Primo balances acting dreams with bartending at Club Passion. After losing his uncle Renzo to cancer, he finds himself caught in a love triangle with Amy, also Vinny's girlfriend, a dangerous bouncer with mob ties. Chino's big acting break is on the line, but he faces a life-changing choice: save Amy from Vinny's abuse or secure his Hollywood future.
Description
Estranged from his biological parents, Uncle Renzo, provided unconditional love and support to Chino during his childhood through martial arts training. He is well respected by the clubgoers at Club Passion, and with his good looks and top-shelf bartending skills, Chino makes enough money to support himself while on his acting journey. Chino finds himself caught in a love triangle with Amy, the coat check girl, who's also dating Vinny, the head bouncer for Club Passion. Vinny is a wicked, evil man fueled by hate, steroids, and cocaine. What makes matters even worse is that Vinny's Uncle Bruno is the captain for a powerful mob family straight out of Brooklyn. Chino is set to meet with a big-time director to finalize the acting role that will change his life and put him on the path to becoming the Hollywood star he always dreamed of. But on the same day, Chino is forced to make a difficult decision: either help Amy escape from the abusive hell that Vinny has put her through or attend the meeting and sign the contract to book this once in a lifetime acting gig.
