An adventure story in which a pilot nearing retirement encounters more than he anticipated during his last Beech 18 cargo flight.

Cal, a Beech 18 cargo freight pilot, was the last of his generation. The company sends him on one last run to Detroit. Although Cal has made this run hundreds of times in his career, this one turns out to be the greatest flying challenge of his life. But Cal receives help in unexpected ways.
