About The Author

John Dickson is a father, husband and writer. He was born in Fairfield, California and grew up in nearby Vallejo. John grew up and soon found himself influenced by the streetlife he witnessed as a child. After becoming 14, he started going down to the local pool hall and became a proficient pool expert who traveled earning money on the pool table. A couple years later he went to Sonoma State University and left with a 3.75 gpa. Unable to shake the facination the streets had for him he left Vallejo and embarked on a life of hustling, which led to his celebrated life as a pimp. After becoming a single father, he went to great lengths to change his life and started writing, a passion he developed in high school. At the beginning of his first novel, he knew he had made the right decison and continued writing. Now, after 8 completed novels, with two published he's ready for you to know his style.
