The Hourglass

Jake Trust is a talented guy in his mid-thirties who lost his way as a decade flew by. An office job has taken away his emotions and he no longer feels. His boss Mr. Randell reminds him every chance he gets that he is not important to the company. And Jake has a bad feeling he wants to fire him as he did many others. His best friend Josh gave Jake his first office pool football sheet and he won $500 dollars his first try. From that moment on he was hooked. His excitement would be short-lived when he brings Josh in on a plan to make money on the side. Friendships that seemed unbreakable become a distant past and good intentions are on the verge of ruining lives. With an hourglass and the help of a few people along the way Jake learns how to live his life by taking chances and risks everything in hopes to break free from the chains of what he feels is a monotonous way of life.
