The Enchanted Giver and the Four Puddle Ducks connects Chona Aranda's enchanted childhood in the island of the Philippines with her present life in the United States. She uses a magical world to weave four true events into a teaching tool for four children. Cali, Trey, Christopher and Charli learn happiness is a life of giving.

Chona Aranda was born in Jimalalud Negros Oriental Philippines. She attended the University of the East Manila Philippines. She has lived in the United States for thirty years. She attended Gadsden State Community College. She graduated from Blue Cliff Therapeutic School of Massage in Mississippi. And completed studies at Tulane University in Mississippi.
