Overview
Zenobia's ascension bringers her new challenges on a whole new playing field. In search of more pieces to the Talisman, Zenobia travels far and wide to retrieve what she needs to continue unraveling its mystery. It's time to build her arsenal of herbs and tools in order to eventually go solo. Working with Tiye helps to bring out her magic and purpose in the Covenant. Her grimoire is filling up with magic and Zenobia is growing her capacity. Zenobia is delighted to return to the gauntlet in order to help determine the new leadership in Canada. Time well spent with her love takes away from her studies. With desires surpassing her will, Zenobia seeks comfort from some of the most unlikely people. A journey to the Motherland exposes her to the variety of factions in other regions. She learns the old fashioned art of diplomacy when visiting one of the newest foreign territories of the Order. A tour of it's beauty captures her heart and desire to explore more. And more is exactly what she gets when the top man takes interest in her and her magic. The mystery of the fish escapes her as she tries to learn its purpose through her trials. Zenobia learns how to conduct her first solo reaping using her own words and incantations. Old habits die hard, and Zenobia must accept the laws of the land instead of those of the Covenant. This goes against every fibre of her being and she tries to force change in the region. This book uses various languages to highlight the level of power Zenobia has collected. Have fun looking them up to better understand the spells and incantations!
