About the author
Ingrid Goddard is a retired Financial Analyst from the Government of Canada. Ingrid was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada, on October 2, 1974. Over the years Ingrid has had many interests including; politics, and education. In her various work environments Ingrid has written several job manuals and internal working policies. She writes poetry, short stories, and is now a novelist. Ms. Goddard has published works through literary magazines and the Financial Management Institute. In February of 2017, Ms. Goddard suffered a concussion which has uprooted her life and cost her a job she truly loved. Now medically retired, she has turned to writing to keep her mind occupied and still feel like a contributing member of society. She is also an advocate for mental health and mental health service dogs, having trained her own dog to respond to stress and anxiety. Mental health remains a daily struggle, but taking a few minutes each day to write a little something is the best therapy she's found (other than her dog of course)!
