Dutch grew up in the small town of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His blue-collar upbringing didn't keep him from wanting to fulfill his dream of being a writer. With a love for science fiction/fantasy and comic books, he always dreamed of being involved with the creative process. Having no real artistic talents for drawing or photography, he leaned on storytelling and writing. He lives with his beautiful wife Debbie in Kirkland, Washington with their puppy Willow.
