About the author
H. Eduardo Burt, age 91: I am a well-traveled senior citizen survivor of many “crash-and-burn” situations. Been to the marriage post on multiple occasions. Mostly beautiful exteriors—some not so nice other than the body works. Am mobile, no drugs, sober now in my third year. Woke up to find I had published a 74,500 word novel. Quite good, even if I do say so. Had tons of fun writing. Actually at times felt as if I was part of my endeavors—weird—unreal! Enough enlightenment for now. Since sobering up I think I am beginning to relish my remaining time allotted on this, our planet called Earth. Our gift from our Creator. I give thanks to Sally, my wife now of 21 years, for “hangin’ in there.” And also for telling me one day, “Either mow the lawn or write a book.” Never did like mowing the lawn… Hard at work now on the sequel, The Mayan Connection, coming soon!
