Overview
Borpagigrilla is a story of letting children know it's ok to be weird, strange, uncool, and quirky. It helps children not to judge by looks on the outside but by a person's heart on the inside. Hatred is taught through ignorance but love and compassion can conquer all who are willing to accept one another. It shows that none of us are perfect and accepting one another for who we are is much easier than any prejudices. In the end it's the age old lesson you reap what you sow.

About the author
Caprica Joseph Peniza is a creole from New Orleans,LA and has been painting and sculpting since she was born. She attended L.E Rabouin Magnet High School where she was a part of the YA YA art group. She then attended S.C.A.D majoring in painting and sculpting as a minor. This is where she met her husband of 25 years, René H. Peniza Jr. who majored in illustration. They both had dreams of writing and illustrating many books, but life as you know it had many twists and turns so their dreams had to be put on the back burner to make ends meet. René works full time as a graphic designer and Caprica works at everyone's favorite grocery store Trader Joe's as a sign artist and crew member. Their life is full of love for their friends and family. They hope to make many more children's books and sci-fi stories in the future. She also found a love making herbal remedies, and crafting soaps. She loves her 2 cats and hopes to someday own 2 big dogs even though she might get a poodle due to her allergies. She has hopes of buying her dream home and continuing her writing, painting and sculpting career.
