About the author
Colleen is an award-winning novelist and playwright living in Redding, California. She began writing her current series, "Claiming Destination" in 2009 and shelved the project after completing the first five books. A close friend convinced her to finish the series in 2021 because he had faith in it and wanted to know how it ended. She delivered the final books six and seven to him on his birthday, which made him very happy. Colleen leads a quiet life immersed in creative projects that include gentle character-driven family fiction. Depth of character is a common thread throughout her works. She believes that relatable and realistic characters draw the reader fully into the story as if they are walking the path with them. Her knowledge of psychology and interpersonal dynamics strengthens not only her characters, but how they interact with and through their life experiences in her fictional works, thus giving the reader an intimate and memorable relationship that lasts long after those words, "THE END."
