Her area of expertise is public budgeting and financial management, and her research has been published in journals such as Public Budgeting and Finance, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management, and Administration & Society. In her free time, she enjoys creative pursuits including motivational speaking and writing children's books. She currently resides in Illinois.
