Valerie Maxsam has been an educator for over 10 years. In those 10 years, she has encountered hundreds of students who struggle with reading and teachers who struggle to them how to read. Valerie has a gift for helping struggling readers become better readers. She has taken what she has learned over the 10 year span of teaching and put it into one book. Over the 10 years, many people contributed to her successes in the classroom. Some of those people are mentioned in the book. Now, she wants to contribute to the success of other teachers.
