About the author
Mary Moody Foster taught in public and private schools for 25 years, mostly as an English teacher. She was also conscripted to teach social studies, science, music, and art. During her last six years as an educator, she was a gifted specialist. She now lives in Indian Land, SC, with her husband of 53 years. When she retired, she took up kayaking, chess, and pickleball, and she now hikes two to three miles a day, just to keep her sanity. She enjoys playing piano, guitar, and ukulele. She also loves cooking for family and friends, and spending time with her 10 grandchildren.
