Overview
Sweet Child of Mine is a beautiful gift book for young children and those who love to read with them.
Description
Sweet Child of Mine pairs beautiful watercolor illustrations with the truth of God's Word. Together, parents and young children are invited to ponder God's great love and desire for all of us.
About the author
As a child, the words of a good book would come alive and stay with me long after I read the last page. Beautifully illustrated children's books speak to my heart. I've wrestled with the desire to write a children's book for many years. I couldn't commit to a story line, had no illustrator and life got busy. I got married, had a baby and dealt with health issues. Anxiety and fear crept in. Over time God began to remind me of who He is; His love and His perfect plan. That's when the desire to write a children's book popped back up. I began to journal the truths and promises of God I wanted my children to know. I knew the illustrations would need to speak as loudly as the words on the page for little readers. And in the sweetest blessing, God gave me a talented artist for a mother in law. She graciously said yes to this little project and now it's in your hands. My hope is that somewhere between Nancy's beautiful watercolor paintings and the truth of God's Word, you and your child will find yourself pondering God's great love and desire for all of us. Happy Reading, Sweet Child!
