Sunny the Firefly

When Sunny the Firefly sets off to find his light, his goal is to find his purpose, fit in and be like everyone else. Excited to learn new things, Sunny is surprised and upset by how much rivalry there is among his siblings. What happens when he is faced with his biggest challenge? Will his siblings be able to set aside their differences to help?

Sunny the firefly is searching for something that was right in front of him all along. On his quest to find his light, he discovers that not everyone's talents or purpose are easily labeled or defined. Sometimes they are more subtle, a little different, and uncomfortable but make a bigger impact than imaginable. It's a story about finding your purpose and abilities and learning how to be nice and lift others up along the way.

Lee Ann is a creator through and through. Harnessing her individuality, she writes music, stories and creates art that bring unity and light to her community. She loves nature and science. Trees and bugs were her best friends when she was little...and still are. This is her first children's book, lovingly written for her own children ten years ago.
