Sprouting Spiritual Growth is a memoir and advocate of daily spiritual journaling. It provides suggestions on how to pray and what can happen when you ask this, or a similar question, each session, "God, what else do you want me to know?" For each of us, God's response will be unique. For Marie, the desires of the heart became apparent by developing this more personal relationship with God. She could see God's hand stamped on them, especially during the looking back. You'll see it too.

In 2009 Marie took a giant leap of faith, found a spiritual director and used spiritual journaling to get to the truth and beauty that created life satisfaction.  If you are searching, the ten chapters provide a guide that addresses the spiritual element in life and decision making.  Marie's journaling practice has grown and changed over the years, but the most constant thing she has put into practice is that, after writing what’s on her heart, she writes both this question: "God, what else should I know?" and the answers that result. Journaling provides a rich source of data which comes from looking back.

Included with the ways to pray are gratitude-based poems where "shimmer" words can be found for the practice of walking meditation.  This focused meditation practice helps with developing one's own inner spirit wisdom.  Directions for these and other prayer methods are are included.
