So So Grateful! Revolutionary Work! So Frail: A Reality to Black Male Masculinity is the book many Black men (and Black people in general) never knew they needed! This book breaks down the causes of why true masculinity has been a struggle, both from history and current issues of the day. Racine McGee illuminates how long-held assumptions and cultural adaptations contribute to this issue, from both subtle and major facets of our everyday lives. He is unapologetic in stating truths and brings accountability to the table, but with love, logic, facts, and examples. What is truly valuable about this book is that it comes full circle in a number of ways. In addition, solutions are presented and backed with sound reasoning. So Frail has helped me to understand myself as a woman, as well as to understand my father. The self-reflection I received from this piece is truly treasured. This book is a jewel for Black men and the Black community as a whole. It is a grand catalyst to push our community forward and lift us to unknown heights, should we take the time to digest the information presented and apply the knowledge and wisdom gained! Read more

The way he breaks down masculine energy, the black man, and his reality was what made me understand black men a whole lot better. It gave me a totally different perspective. He speaks to you as if you’re having a conversation in his living room but all you’re doing is listening. He drops pure knowledge. Real!ness And super witty. This brother is a writer you need to have in your collection. SIMPLE Read more
