Overview
A suspense-filled, true-to-life police drama, Slice of Greed follows Detective Kevin Rhinehardt as he works a double murder case involving a doctor, his homosexual lover, and a mysterious killer on the loose along California's Central Coast.
Description
Detective Kevin Rhinehardt has worked in criminal investigations long enough to be accustomed to early morning telephone calls. But this one is different. The horrific murder of Doctor Marvin Redbone, along with his homosexual lover, Raul Diaz, in his upscale townhouse in upscale Solvang, California, is a big deal in a city where violent crime is a rarity. With little forensic evidence to go on, Detective Rhinehardt and his partners at the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office must track down an unknown killer they call "The Phantom" who is terrorizing the Central Coast – and a local news crew bent on making them look bad is turning up the heat. A complex case with plenty of surprising twists and turns, a cast of colorful characters, and an insider's view of criminal investigations, makes Slice of Greed an edgy, real-life police drama that will have you riveted from start to finish!
