Overview
Lynne and Betsy Parker are sisters and best friends. As the girls grow up, Betsy remains with her husband on the farm and Lynne moves to the city. When tragedy strikes, the sisters reunite and reconnect with their pasts.
Description
When Lynne and Betsy Parker were young, their mother renovated an artist's studio in rural Wisconsin that draws creative women from across the country. These women, known as the Shack Girls, become an integral part of the Parker family. As the girls grow up, Betsy remains with her husband on the farm and Lynne moves to the city. Lynne's life changes forever when one horrific act of violence turned her life upside down. Just as she begins to turn things right-side up, she learns her dear sister Betsy has cancer. Without hesitation, Lynne drops everything to move back to the family farm to help Betsy and her family. As Lynne and Betsy seek to rebuild their lives, the Shack Girls help them discover their strengths, talents, and the unshakable bond between women.
