Description
Senior Chemistry A Course Companion This new textbook is designed to comprehensively address the South Australian Certificate of Education's (SACE) curriculum statement for Year 12 Stage 2 Chemistry. It features a student friendly, straightforward writing style, with each subtopic addressed in curriculum statement order. Additionally, a context for the chemistry to be studied is provided throughout, and at the end of each subtopic is a succinct yet comprehensive summary, along with key questions specifically designed to ensure the concepts are well understood. A glossary of key terms is also provided, giving students a quick reference guide to the major concepts. One of the focuses of SACE Stage 2 Chemistry is the investigations that are conducted, and this text includes specific details on the experimental method and errors. Simply put, this course companion provides extensive support for student success. There is a supporting CD, Senior Chemistry Student Workbook and Guide, available from The Enterprise Press www.enterprisepress.com.au . This contains answers and more to the questions in the text, along with topic assignments, extra exam and test style questions, again with suggested answers, to ensure students are properly prepared. About the Publisher The Enterprise Press have been publishing textbooks for SACE Chemistry since 1970 and for the International Baccalaureate Diploma program since 2009. Our philosophy is to produce user friendly texts that inspire. We are an eclectic group of long established teachers with a combined teaching experience at the senior level of many years, who work with the younger generation with the aim of bringing today's chemistry into real life focus. This diverse spectrum of chemical knowledge is applied to all that we create. Our common bond is a passion for making chemistry a first class educational experience and for promoting science as a philosophy for life. We hope you find our love of chemistry infectious.
