During the process of writing this book I realized a question must be answered before I proceeded.Why would anyone need this book?The answers were developed as I organized my material.#1.If anyone was thinking about a career in education they would be enriched with the information this book.#2.If someone was currently involved in education and required some clarity about their role in the profession they would want this book.#3.If a professional educator was experiencing various problems on the job with rules,regulations and their rights they would require this book.#4.If a professional educator was contemplating retirement and have questions about their next big step into the unknown then they would need this book.After a career in education I intend to share the depth of my extensive positive and negative experiences with others.To the best of my knowledge the information presented has never been covered in any education certification courses.Novice teachers that are part of a mentoring process have never been exposed to the daily realities and responsibilities of their contractual obligations.Experienced instructors who have reached their mid-career years might require a refreshed address about the districts mission policy and their role in the implementation of the goals and objectives they are contracted to deliver.The seasoned experienced educator who might not agree completely with the system might require something other than a paycheck to energize and excite their remaining years of productive service.This book offers an understanding about some issues that are not usually addressed until a minor dilemma mushrooms into costly major problem.
