Description
In Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus says, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

We are blessed with salvation in/through Jesus Christ. Amen! But believing in Jesus is only the beginning of a Christian's overall journey of faith.
As we continue to grow in our faith, and dig deeper into the study of God's word in the Bible, we come to some intellectual/spiritual inflection points. One such moment comes when we reflect upon how we should reconcile Jesus' words in Matthew 7:13-14. "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
What did Jesus mean when he said this? And how can we apply his words to our daily lives?
In "Seeking The Narrow Gate: Living on the Narrow Road" we examine three transformational Bible verses that can help us to intentionally and practically pursue a narrow gate/narrow road approach to life.
We live in a fallen world, and it shouldn't be a surprise to hear Jesus say that going along with the mainstream (broad road) pace only leads to destruction. But, as is always the case with God, we are also given the blessing and opportunity of a different path, a "narrow gate/narrow road", that leads to life, and that only a few find.
