Overview
The apostle John prayed that we "prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers."
I believe the Holy Spirit wants to minister to believers in the multifaceted area of the soul realm on so many levels---but in my experience, most believers do not have a clear understanding of how to maintain the spiritual health of their soul.
Since the loss of my wife, I have discovered a healing stream of the life and anointing of the Holy Spirit that is always available to flow into my fractured emotions, bringing a sense of wholeness and well-being that transcends anything that could originate from my normal thought processes.
In short, I have been learning to live from the divine, supernatural life of the Holy Spirit, and have begun to experience a tremendously profound revelation; Our entire being—spirit, soul, and body—is designed by God Himself to benefit from the indwelling presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit!
I truly believe that this is probably the largest area of spiritual need in the Body of Christ, because so very little anointed, Spirit-led ministry has been available regarding experiencing fruitful and abundant spiritual life in the area of the soul realm.
In short, what this means is that if we can devote our attention to the things that bring divine spiritual health and strength to our soul man, we will in turn realize and experience greater spiritual freedom, and greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

From Genesis to Revelation, there is One spiritual principal of God that is central to everything that He is, and everything that He has ever done and ever will do—-and this spiritual principle must be active and effectual in each and every one of us on a daily basis.
That spiritual principle is Purpose.
From the very first chapter of Genesis, it is abundantly clear that God moves according to the purposes and intents of His heart, and those purposes and intents are always divinely Redemptive and creative.
Since we are made in His image, we are meant to live and function as reflections of His redemptive purposes and His redemptive actions—-and how those are expressed through us individually are manifestations of His spiritual creativity and gifting. In other words, every single one of us is uniquely created by Him for His glory, and we are uniquely created by Him to reflect His glory in our life through the giftings He has built into us.
However, many times we struggle against invisible “barriers” in our thoughts and emotions, and find ourselves unable to move forward into greater freedom and liberty, without ever really understanding Why.
This is where we need the Life and Ministry of the Holy Spirit to Come Alive in our inner man!
Remember, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will be rivers of living water flowing from within us. Just as Jesus was continually with the disciples, He also said “I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you”, and that was in the form and ministry of the Holy Spirit who likewise is with us continually---but is up to us to avail ourselves of His life and ministry within us, and we do this by praying in the spirit. Praying in the spirit keeps the flow of the Holy Spirit active within our inner man, so that our soul realm and even our physical body can receive from His life and His power on a continuous basis.
This is one major blessing of praying in the spirit---because it allows the fullness of the Holy Spirit within us to minister to the weakness of our flesh, which includes the areas of our mind, our thoughts, and emotions.
In fact, it is the weakness of our flesh that should drive us to connect as fully as possible with the Holy Spirit within us, because He Himself is the Source of everything that we need to walk through this life.
