Overview
An anthology of 5 short horror stories, written in a pseudo classical style, inspired by the horror greats. A young man sets out through a thick forest to check up on his elusive great uncle, a huntsman living in a far flung land comes upon an incredible creature caught in one of his traps, a simple minded laundress conjures a mysterious force to help her save her home and business, three men set out in the great Wild West seeking fortunes from an old gold mine but stumble across more than riches, and a woman traumatized from a horrible kitchen fire finds solace from her pain from evil forces.
Description
A wild ride of a collection of horror, ranging from classic haunted forests, creaky old cabins in the woods, and Wild West mining towns. Each story brings the reader into a different world, written for a short and fast paced read, including illustrations by different artists for each story.
About the author
This is Grant Crowther's first published book, but he has been writing short horror stories from a very young age, and has been inspired by all the classic great horror authors such as Stephen King, HP Lovecraft, The Brothers Grimm, and Chuck Palahniuk. These stories are a collection of pseudo classic horror tales that have been living inside the authors head for some years now. The illustrators are from across the globe, two from Ukraine, one from Venezuela, Argentina and Indonesia, each one drawing pictures for one of the five stories in this collection.
