About the author
Thank you for taking your time to read this. My name is Billy and I am a semi-retired newcomer to politics and decided to try and make a contribution to American society in the interest of my children and grandchildren. Age brings with it knowledge and at times even wisdom, especially the recognition that life is short and affords us all opportunities to explore and capitalize on in the interest of leaving our offspring a better world in which to live. After spending 35 years working mostly in the field of quality management, I got a crash-course in politics after being exposed to C-SPAN, then falling into the snake pit of cable television news, and finally finding the family-friendly media process of radio talk that put everything politics into perfect perspective. A good portion of this book was conceived while walking my dog Buster, and most of the book was written while he napped after his walk around the block. Now that the book is done, I hope to spend more time with my family—as a family—and absorb and give the love that family life is supposed to foster. Beyond that, I would enjoy more time fishing, ice fishing, and walking the woods of the Northland in search of game, especially with my grandchildren. There is nothing more important than children, and if I did things right with this book, hopefully they will have a better America in which to live as they grow into adults.
Thank you again for taking your time to read this, and I wish you and your family good health, good fortune, and good times.
