About the author
BIO: V. H. Moss is Editor-at-Large for Southern Writers Magazine and an award winning poet and author of How to Write for Kids’ Magazines and Writing with Voice. Reared in Chattanooga, Tennessee during the week and raised on her family’s Appalachian Alabama farm on weekends, she attended the University of Tennessee, is a Precept Ministries Leader, a Christian Communicators graduate, and a pundit for the American Daily Herald. She’s written for Hopscotch and Boy’s Quest magazines for the last decade along with articles published in South West Writer’s The Sage, Country Woman, In the City, Borderlines, and Scotland’s Thistle Blower. Moss is also a speaker and frequently on faculty for writing conferences. Selected to be a presenter of her fiction and creative nonfiction short stories for three conferences in a row at the Southern Women Writers Conference held at Rome, GA’s Berry College, she continues to write about the South.
