With an academic background in sociology from the University of Minnesota and a subsequent career in the legal field, Leah's journey has been diverse and enriching. As the world found itself in the grip of a pandemic, Leah sought new opportunities, returning to school in 2020 to pursue social work. In 2022, she earned her MSW from the University of Denver, marking another milestone in her personal and professional growth. When she's not crafting her powerful poetry or engaging in her new career, Leah finds joy in the beauty of nature, fitness activities at Lifetime, traveling, and cherishing everyday moments with her teenage daughter.
