These verses were written six decades ago when the author had completed his teen years. The poems have been essentially unaltered, thus preserving thoughts prevalent at that time. All the poems were compiled acouple of years after the author left India in 1947, reflecting some of his experiences there, before, during and after the partition of India and Pakistan.
