Overview
Short stories in prose and verse written after leaving India to post world war 2 in Britain.
Description
By combining prose and poetry, it is hoped that poetry can be made attractive to those who shun poetry. The background and reason for the rhyme provides an introduction to a poems or series of poems. These verses were written six decades ago when the author had completed his teen years. The poems have been essentially unaltered, thus preserving thoughts prevalent at that time. All the poems were compiled acouple of years after the author left India in 1947, reflecting some of his experiences there, before, during and after the partition of India and Pakistan. Life in Britain during the dreary post war days is also portrayed.
