About the author
My journey to becoming an author has been inspired in various ways. From growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana, to serving in the Air Force, to my work as an educator, to fatherhood, and to serving as a military spouse to my inspirational wife. Eight years ago, I decided to become an educator in hopes of inspiring future generations. I enjoyed working with students daily to consistently improve and reach new heights. However, I quickly found myself wanting to spend more time teaching them leadership and life skills than traditional school subjects. I've always been one to pass on to others the knowledge and skills I've learned. Inspired by a conversation with my childhood best friend, I decided to take the leap and become a coach, speaker, and trainer. Having the opportunity to work with leaders of companies and the U.S. military is an honor. My mission is to develop dynamic leaders who accelerate change and positively affect culture. Since there are a limited number of people who can be reached through training or speaking engagements, I wanted to become an author to share what I've learned and continue to learn with anyone seeking self-improvement. This book is the first of a series to inspire and develop the next generation of leaders.
