"Radon- A Mitigators Perspective" is an informative book about radon, written to help answer many of the more popular questions from my customers. It is also meant to be a reference for realtors, builders and local municipalities on how to approach residential radon issues.

The book helps to highlight what I consider to be the real dangers of radon and why all residential structures should include venting soil gas in the most efficient manner possible. The book contains over 85 pictures charts and graphs that help explain what we are seeing in the field. The text is simple and to the point. A very quick read. There is a chapter to help real estate agents with radon pipe identification and how to distinguish from pipes leading to the sewer. There is a chapter dedicated to help builders minimize errors in the field and why this is the best approach for your customers. The final chapter summarizes our field observations with modern science to paint a different picture of radon exposure and what it really means to us and our families.

Adam C. Michels is the owner of Certified Radon Technologies, Loveland Colorado established in 2001. He possesses a degree in Watershed Science with an emphasis in Soil Science and Statistics. Other certifications include Colorado A Water Operator certificate, Colorado Wastewater D certificate, Collection & Distribution 1 certification and NRPP Radon Mitigation Technician certification. Continuing education over the past seven years has focused on radon physics and the health effects of ionizing radiation.
