"Presidential Ideas"  by Dan Foster is a fun read, entertaining yet eye opening to the current state of government and the problems within.

In 2013 Dan was asked to run for state delegate in his current home state of Virginia by the Libertarian party. Before, during and after his campaign, Dan received many phone calls, letters and emails that contained many great points, ideas and suggestions to make our country run like a more efficient machine. The various sources are diverse but point out much of the mishandled business our own government created.

Many of the emails contain surprisingly great ideas to fix these issues, while others were installed simply for some comedic relief. The author also interjects his own commentary and suggestions for a more efficient government and better United States of America. Don't worry, this is a non-partisan book which makes it a good read for all.

Its now 2012, president Obama is in office and his presidential race is officially on as Mitt Romney won the republican nomination. Over the past few years, many friends have sent me emails regarding the problems with the United States government and possible suggestions to fix them. As we all know, there are a lot of problems with the government as it is. Some of these emails were sent just to be funny but many of them made a lot of sense. Some of the writings here are from my own beliefs and are sure to rattle a lot of peoples feathers. I don’t care. If I believe it would benefit the United States, then I’m for it. It seems like an impossible task for any one man or women to fix the mess that many of our past and present government leaders created. Maybe if we were to all pitch in a little and team up a lot, we could realize more results. So this ebook is me pitching in a little, my ideas. It’s all I got …….. because I’m broke. It’s hard to believe some of the things that are going on in our government today, sometimes you just have to take a step back and say wtf were you guys thinking? Now I can’t say for sure, because I’ve never been on that side of the fence, but I believe that if I were handling any end of United States government’s affairs for the people, that would be the most important thing to me in my life. And any amount of money that anyone would attempt bribe me with to do otherwise would just not change my feelings. I’m of course speaking of lobbyists bribing politicians. This is my country, I don’t know any other country, I don’t want to live in any other country and I certainly don’t want millions of fellow Americans pissed off at me or disappointed in me for being greedy. Our United States senators and congressmen make a lot of money and enjoy the best health care packages available, you would think they would be content with that, but noooooooo. They want mo money, mo money, mo money. Now I know they aren’t all like that, but I do believe that many past and present politicians are. Just maybe this book will reach the hands of our next president, whoever that may be. Maybe they’ll read it and say “hey, this idiot makes a lot of sense, and some of these ideas aren’t half bad”.

Since 1979, Dan Foster has been a very creative musician and music producer, his main interest throughout his life has always been music. He has performed with dozens of bands, played large venue concerts for thousands of fans, been on radio and television, has recorded and released multiple recordings, and has produced or co-produced his last three music recordings. More recently, Dan turned some of his time and energy towards writing. This first effort was inspired by our upcoming presidential election. Dan considers himself to be a very patriotic individual and wants to see our country do better than it has in recent years. His intentions are to get this ebook in the hands our our next elected president, hoping that he will see the true feelings and ideas of many fellow Americans.

Since this book was published, the author has gone onto run for delegate, Virginia House of Representatives in his home town of Chesapeake.
