Susan Kay Gilmore is a freelance writer of fiction, non-fiction and is a published poet. When Susan was in fourth grade she wrote her first poem and the teacher asked her to read it to the class. As she read her poem, she became hooked immediately on the incredible joy one feels when you share your passion and entertain people. She has over twenty years of writing and editing experience in both the creative and business arenas. Susan was a staff writer for Slurve Magazine for a year and has also done some acting. Currently she is working on three stories for publication and a screenplay. Besides the Southern California Writers Association, her affiliations include Women In Film - Los Angeles, and the Orange County Screenwriters Association.
