About the author
Alex R. Lim is by profession, a physician specializing in Neurology. His training was at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic. While he has been a very successful doctor (published in Marquis' Who's Who in America, in Medicine, in the World, in Education, in Science and Engineering, as well as in Best Doctors in America, a past president of Texas Neurological Society, a former faculty member {Clinical Associate Professor} at UTSA HSC, co-founder of the Neurological Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX, a dual specialty {Neurology and Neurosurgery} group practice, on Editorial board of Neuro-Central of the American Epilepsy Society, a consultant/book reviewer of Texas Medicine, on Editorial board of Coastal Bend Medicine and on the Speakers' Bureau of American Academy of Neurology), he is also a ret. Lt. Col. MC USAR (with active duty in Desert Shield/Desert Storm), and an on-going mentor for gifted and talented High School seniors interested in the Medical field in the South Texas area.
He spends his time with his wife of 44 years, the former Norma Sue Hanks, his 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. His hobbies include essay writing, frequent forum contributions to local newspaper, the Caller -Times, tennis, snow-skiing and tending to his Bonsai plants. While Poetry is not his genre of choice, he dabbles in it and has 20 poems published in anthologies.
