About the author

Duygu Kivanc is an artist who has shown her work at the United Nations, Soho, Chelsea in NewYork; Alexandria, McLean and Fairfax in VA, in Washington DC as well as internationally in various countries. She considers her participation in the Art Students' League (open studio programs) in New York has influenced her development style in art. Especially, Knox Martin's instructions on abstraction has very strong influence.
