Pineview to Paris

Author has had the opportunity to meet so many interesting characters in his lifetime. There are 35 chapters containing a character in each one.

Being born in the small town of Pineview, Georgia, gave me the opportunity to be around interesting folks who helped form the first 18 years of my life. College brought about new friends, who tapped into my wilder side. Practicing law, marriage and family led through twisting paths, where I became acquainted with a vast amount of individuals who've lived lives worth getting to know. They taught me to appreciate those who deviate from the norm. This book will introduce you to some of the more colorful characters. To the best of my knowledge and memory what I've said about them is true. All of the subjects are deceased with the exception of my dear wife. Of course, I had to first get Marie's blessing to write about her. It gave me a lot of pleasure writing this book, and I sincerely believe you'll enjoy reading it.

Like five generations of his ancestors, Tom was born in Pineview, a small farming community in the heart of Georgia. He attended Davidson College in North Carolina and graduated from law school at the University of Georgia, where he met his wife, Marie. They live on St. Simons Island, Georgia, have three children and eleven grandchildren.
