Description
Martin Vanetti is a returning Vietnam War veteran. Haunted by the experience of combat and captured by a morose sense of loss. He feels apprehensive over an uncertain home coming. Thus, Martin returns to Brooklyn of the late 1960's only to find events that sent him off to war years before still exist and still fester. Years before, Martin was accused of raping the daughter of a powerful political leader in the neighborhood. The father still wishing for vengeance tasks his son Garth with restoration of the family honor by any means. Martin's attempts at re-assimilation are difficult as his reputation and connection to the war dampens his progress. Beset by reprised scenes of war and constant self doubt, Martin realizes that a final confrontation must come.
