Born and raised in Watts, CA Monique Ruffin was deeply impacted by the challenges occurring within her community. Surrounded by drug addiction and gang violence a young Monique witnessed and learned that political power and spiritual empowerment were the only methods, she believed would could change her life. Today Monique is a political and spiritual activist. Combined her love for politics and spirituality to assist citizens in the journey of transformation. It is Ruffin's assertion that as citizens shift their hearts and minds, our nation will be powerfully changed by virtue of the change within each citizen.
