Overview

Are dandelions really weeds? This story is about a spunky little boy who befriends tearful Dandelion and teaches her why his Nonna says dandelions are God's favorite flower. The sunny faces of dandelions not only make people happy, but you can eat every part of them and they can fix all kinds of owies!

Description

I never really liked dandelions. They were a weed in my eyes that made our lawn messy. Every time my dad drove up from California to visit I would light up to spy him tuck a screwdriver into his back pocket before our walks around the backyard because I knew he would dig out those nasty weeds. Years Have passed though and I've become a little wiser. Now, in a playful, simple way, this Nonna teaches children and all those young at heart, why dandelions are God's favorite flower! Sunny dandelion faces not only make people happy, but every part of the plant is edible being full of vitamins, minerals and amazing healing properties!
