Description
The story is about a Noah, a beautiful woman, an accomplished horseman whose life's story is documented through her association with a number of interesting and original characters. A married man, Sam, whom she meets is taken with her beauty and relentlessly pursues her. At first she fends him off but later finds herself strangely attracted to him and invites him to come to her home for the weekend which he does. He declares that he loves her but she tells him it's not love, it's just sex. Hearing this, he abruptly leaves her and eventually reconciles with his wife. Noah has other relationships with men one of whom she eventually marries. Although she loves her husband she can't resist thinking about Sam and that thought plagues her for years thereafter. But Sam refuses her advances and remains loyal to his wife eventually
gaining a workable relationship with both Noah and her husband. Through Noah, we meet many interesting and diverse characters including a number of Amish people who play important roles in Noah's life. In the end, Noah finds emotional peace and ends in a place where she always wanted to be.
