About the author
Victoria (Tori) Zolla is a young adult who's passionate about nutrition, cooking, and food allergy awareness. Her love for creating recipes began at a young age, as she grew up watching the Food Network with her older brother and helping family members prepare meals. Having severe food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts, making tasty meals at home, and modifying various recipes was common practice. College was a particularly difficult time to manage her food allergies as she began exploring dining halls, experiencing allergy anxiety, and learning to cook independently. As she studied to receive her B.S. in Nutrition, Victoria reflected on her own experiences learning to manage food allergies away from home and decided to write a nut-free cookbook. Victoria wrote "No Need to Go Nuts" to help other college students and young adults with nut allergies in the hopes that her recipes reduce stress around mealtimes, encourage healthy eating, and bring joy to others as they navigate the kitchen and share food with friends and family.
