In "Nimbus", your kids will meet the prairie dogs amid a drought in the desert seeking out friends to help bring much needed rain.

There has been a long drought in prairie dog town. A couple of the prairie dogs work together to create ideas to solve the drought. They talk to the saguaro cacti and enlist their friends the cholla cacti, the beetles, and spiders to create a wind shift that inspires the rain cloud deity Nimbus to release its gift of rain that nourishes the land and ends the drought.

James Sobek has worked on a lobster boat as a cowboy and explored Tibetan Buddhism. He has spent much time studying in universities in his quest for knowledge. Most of his work has been as an arborist and landscape designer, installing and tending trees and plants. He still landscapes to support his gardening habit in Northern Arizona beside a prairie dog town.
